Replace the state

Awakening, is learning to
operate the machine consciously.
Replacing this awakened state with
the dream world you exist in currently.

Children grow up too fast

In this digital culture, perhaps essence
can be smothered faster than in any
other age. Children grow up too fast.

Look how people are now

The work by it's very nature,
cannot be for everybody.
Look how people are now.

Maximum distractions

When writing Beelzebub's tales,
Mr. Gurdjieff would often write
in the Cafe de la Paix in Paris.
Rather than choose a quiet side street,
he chose a cafe at one of the busiest
traffic intersections in Paris.
Maximum distractions.

Rats

Mr. Gurdjieff said:
"I need rats for my experiments".
Objective view of humans?
Perhaps, perhaps an insight he
was showing someone to help them lose
their sentimental attitude about people.

The office

Mr. Gurdjieff would often
work with, and meet his students
over coffee. Whether it be in Paris,
or New York. His local coffee shop
was called his "office".

Ordinary places

Awakening takes place
in the simple ordinary
places of one's day.
