Influences

During the day, there are constant irritations, even if, the milk for coffee runs out.
Even if, a raised eyebrow not meant for one causes a frown.
The news is negative, or attracts one's judgement.
All these things are "influences". They reveal our automatic behaviour.
Mr. Gurdjieff advised us that there are two forms of influences, internal and external.
The lesser and greater freedoms.
First one struggles to free oneself from things inside oneself.
Then the greater freedom, is freedom from external influences.
