Meeting a remarkable man...

Mr. Gurdjieff drove himself on behalf of his students
for many years. He could have had an easier life with
his powers, noted John Bennett. But he chose a harder
path. Endless teaching dinners, even when he was quite
old and ill. Working with the demands the work made on
his finances. His patience, his efforts, have left us a remarkable
legacy. Think, all the great books about the work, and stories
about Gurdjieff, came from encounters with just one man.
Remarkable!
