Getting older

Gurdjieff-big

You can see that Gurdjieff was a tough guy.
It seems it was a part of his role, he had the physical staying power
and will to keep going.
Learning and assimilating the great knowledge.
Mastering himself, travelling great distances, enduring hardship, isolation,
loneliness, and still keeping on.

Later, he said as the Germans approached Paris and his students
asked how he would survive, he responded:
"You have flour, water, you make bread."

The various revolutions and changes of his youth, WWI, WWII,
Russian Revolution, the Depression, he survived them all.

Enough for now.
