Gurdjieff: Orage

"I suppose I have met everyone of importance in England at least, and many in America, and I have never met anyone with even a small portion of Gurdjieff´s being and understanding."

(Orage in Further Teachings of Gurdjieff)

Very good video, someone who had been a student in his group, told me that he had asked once how to see the world differently, Orage replied, "stand on your head". Actually, not a bad idea.

This person had a lot of respect for Orage, and obviously so did Gurdjieff, although, it did not stop him
pressurising him through the work to grow. A real teacher does not act towards his students
"to be liked". He works on their weaknesses. Eventually Orage had enough, partly due to his marriage which Gurdjieff opposed. To be continued in next entry.
