Their stay at his Institute had become useless, they were caught
and indulging in their mechanics.
This is a stage all students pass through.
The initial contact and vibrations of first meeting the work and finding
their teacher had dissipated; what is the old saying?
"Familiarity, breeds contempt", people's mechanics re-emerged,
how else could they see themselves?
