A lot of people are starting to subscribe to this Twitter.
Thankyou friends.
The info and insights, while subjective, are sincere, and from a place
close to a conscious source.
Mr. Ouspensky begins the Fourth Way by emphasizing that the system was not made
up by man, by himself, or Mr. Gurdjieff.
The system must be presented through higher centres.
It's form may change, depending upon the age that one is in, the type and
center of gravity of the teacher.
Mr. Gurdjieff was a moving instinctive man, and so taught with food and movements.
Mr. Ouspensky was an intellectual man, and taught through his lectures.
He used to lecture to a thousand people at a time in Moscow.
Jesus was most likely a moving instinctive man also, note the similiarity with
the way Mr. Gurdjieff taught, by healing, parables and miracles that were about food,
wine, a woman taken in adultery.
Gurdjieff said Jesus was a "magnetic" healer, this would be much like himself.
There are seven levels to the bible, written for and according to each level of man.
The woman taken in adultery is the higher emotional center about to be stoned by the
mob of negative thoughts. Jesus stoops and touches the ground, then rises and neutralises
the mob of self righteous anger, until they dissipate.
The woman is freed back to presence, adultery here means that her purity of presence was
temporarily lost, and the many "I"s (thoughts) came in to try and destroy her.
The books of the bible were written in schools of awakening, the Gospel of Luke,
was written by the school of the same name it has been said.
Whether or not these things historically happened is not so important from one viewpoint, because
although it may make a good tv documentary, you are actually reading a pure teaching.
The bible was written for a culture that did not have Ipad 2's, Ipods, Grand Theft Auto, Tom Cruise,
America's got talent, American Idol, XFactor, The Apprentice, NFL, Laptops or MP3 Players.
It could only be written in the context of the times, part of it's greatness is that it still can be read today.
Meher Baba is an emotionally centered being, he has a loving smile, and we see him constantly
surrounded by his students and followers, these he called his "lovers".
Thank you again for joining.
Love.
