Mr. Gurdjieff said that "Happy is he that has a soul, and happy is he that has none,
but to him that has one in gestation, misery and grief!".
One has to run the gauntlet of development to awaken.
It has been said in regard to the work, that one needs to be dragged kicking and screaming to
paradise.
