Writing

Mr. Gurdjieff said that when he was writing Beelzebub's Tales,
he came to hate, pencil, paper, and writing.
He drove himself for ten years to write the book, after a false start,
he stopped and began to dictate, then it all rolled out from there.

We remember one person, who took two weeks a year, to go off on his own,
and read the book three times, as Mr. Gurdjieff recommended.
