Mr. Gurdjieff's pantry meetings

It is interesting that Mr. Gurdjieff concentrated his efforts down to a small
number of students at the end of his life.
Or comparatively small.
He would meet one on one in his pantry, or at a cafe.
Mr. Gurdjieff's kitchen was a place of work, and his pantry was an especially
special place, being beautifully stacked to the ceiling with all kinds of delicacies,
and exotic foods, filled with spices, it is possible that this worked as an intimate
meeting place because we are often the most relaxed around food.
This explains why so many teachers have worked with their pupils around the dining table.
