Enlightened beings push themselves to make efforts until their last breath.
The level of effort they make at this level, is merely a taste of the efforts they
make when they move on from this life. More responsibility, more to learn.
The fact that these men appear in any age, is mathematical in relation to
the laws of the universe. Here we cannot say more right now.
They live in an eternal present, a moment when the whole universe breathes
as one. Herman Hesse indicated a glimpse of this towards the end of his
book "Siddartha". He gazes from the top to the bottom of the scheme of
creation. Some have indicated he may have been in an esoteric school.
